The Bumper Effect Sangiovese, ‘25, Heathcote

Technical difficulties meant we finished bottling this bad boy at 1am. As we left the winery, a handbrake-related mishap meant that Dale’s back bumper copped a bull bar. To this day, the back door doesn’t open. Worth it though, this one’s juicy, red fruited and smashable. Chill it for the park or knock it back with a pizza on a Tuesday night, we won’t tell.
